WHO: Muslims and Christians together
WHAT: A day for conversation, learning, and relationship building
WHEN: Saturday, November 2, 2019; 8:30am to 2:30pm
WHERE: Christ the King Lutheran Church, 8600 Fremont Avenue South, Bloomington

How can people of faith work together to bring about the will of God on earth? How can we help ourselves and others break through misunderstanding and mistrust and find common holy ground?

The Allies and Friends workshop creates a sacred space for Christians and Muslims to come together to hear stories, have conversations, ask God’s blessing and link arms as we walk together toward peace.

You’ll hear speakers experienced in the challenging and rewarding work of building understanding and relationships. They will include Lutheran clergy, Muslim youth, representatives from the Islamic Resource Group and the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, and others. We’ll enjoy a delicious lunch catered by Afro Deli, and engage in the heretofore unknown sport of interfaith bingo. Please join us!
