Why, What, and How are We Caring for God’s Creation?

Pilgrim Lutheran Church, St. Paul, will host an afternoon of learning about transforming a taboo controversial “issue” into a life-giving opportunity for your congregation. Creation Care Ministry can be an authentic way for church to be involved in community and for members to express personal discipleship in meaningful ways, demystifying what being a public witness means in today’s world. Lutherans Restoring Creation has a wealth of resources for churches to customize a Creation Care Action Plan according to their region and intentions. EcoAmerica’s Blessed Tomorrow offers critical tools of scientific behavioral studies which train people to be effective advocates simply through being in relationship with others. The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America supports these efforts with a cohort of coaches that accompany emerging “green teams” to sustainably achieve their goals. Join us (lunch is provided) and share ideas, challenges, and make plans for the future! Please register.
