Provides accounting assistance to congregation council, the gifts, grants and memorials committee, and other Gloria Dei organizations.

Responsibilities will include overseeing church financial and accounting systems; managing major building projects as they occur and coordinating with the Building Maintenance Supervisor on building needs and repairs; supervising the Office Coordinator, Bookkeeper, and Building Maintenance supervisor; managing computer systems and church office operations; coordinating with church committees related to budget and finance; and managing the church calendar.

This position is full time with benefits, with salary based on experience and Synod guidelines. Ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience as in church administration.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Long Lake, Minnesota, is looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant who will primarily help the Children, Youth, and Family staff with administrative tasks, including tracking registrations, preparing/designing printed materials, and keeping family records up to date. This role will have an emphasis on supporting middle-school ministries, including being present for confirmation on Wednesday nights. The Administrative Assistant will also support the Office Manager with general office projects, including communication and marketing pieces such as bulletins and newsletters.

This is a part-time position of around 20-24 hours per week, with potential up to 30 hours. Wednesday confirmation nights are required, but the remainder of the schedule can be flexible as long as time is within normal office hours, 8:30-4:30 Monday-Friday.

Position title: Program Administrator

Brief position description: Longer Table Lending is a no interest loan program that provides an alternative option to payday and abusive lending practices for individuals and families in a financial hardship who have the ability to repay.

Mount Olive is seeking an individual to be a Program Administrator for the Longer Table Lending program. This part-time contract role will support the intake, review, and administration of loans to qualified individuals. The qualified candidate will be an organized, proactive professional with self-initiative, a positive team attitude, and technical quality and creativity.

During the pilot period of six months the work will generally be in the afternoon and early evening hours and is expected to be four-six hours per week. After the pilot the role could expand to 10 hours per week. The work will be scheduled by appointment and determined by the administrator.

Previous experience with social service agency or financial institution preferred.

This role will report to the executive director of Longer Table Lending (LTL.)
