Peace of the Prairie: Retreat for Church Musicians

Church musicians are invited to experience the peace of the prairie at Shalom Hill Farm in rural Windom, Minnesota. This retreat is designed to offer a time of renewal for church musicians as a new year of programming begins. The retreat will include worship, discussion, resource sharing and fellowship, as well as opportunities to enjoy the walking prayer trails, prayer labyrinth, and the peace of the prairie landscape of Shalom Hill Farm.
Musicians will be introduced to Shalom Hill Farm’s newly commissioned liturgical resources including, Peace of the Prairie: A Liturgy for Here and Now and Shalom Daily Prayers: Morning, Midday, Evening.
The retreat will be lead by Carol Meier, Composer and Liturgical Musician
Cost is is $300 per participant staying at SHF ($200 for participants commuting and not staying at Shalom Hill Farm) and includes program, lodging, and meals.
