In celebration of Juneteenth, Minnesota Council of Churches is excited to host what promises to be a provocative discussion by Rev. Dr. Pamela Ngunjiri titled, Clueless Addiction: Disengaging from Racism in White and Black Churches. The virtual event will be held on June 16, 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Addiction to white supremacy is present in not only white but also Black churches, yet people in leadership and in the pews can be unaware of it. There are ways that faith communities can open their eyes and disengage from it. Rev. Dr. Pamela Ngunjiri will present research and analysis from her D.Min on this addiction, our cluelessness, and how the bodies of Christ can overcome it.
