Journey Towards Justice Featuring Thorne and Wakinyan Lapointe

All are welcome to join the Journey Toward Justice group at Diamond Lake Lutheran as we will be joined by Thorne and Wakinyan Lapointe on Wednesday, November 17 at 6:30-8:00 pm in the Lakeview Room. This will be offered hybrid so you can join us in person or via zoom.

Brothers, Thorne and Wakinyan Lapointe are Sicangu Lakota and live in Minneapolis. They are indigenous human rights advocates and are co-conveners of Mni Ki Waken: Indigenous Water Decade, which focuses on water justice. They will be with us to share their own stories, speak about the indigenous world view and lead us in conversation. We are very happy to have them joining us. You won’t want to miss this!
