National Lutheran Choir Concert
March 22 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
You’re invited to seek refuge in song on March 22
Join the National Lutheran Choir at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in St. Paul, MN for Sacred Refuge. As we transition from winter to spring, we invite you to seek refuge in song: a sacred place where the soul finds its voice and a place to belong.
At the heart of the program is Aaron McDermid’s From Light to Light, commissioned by the National Lutheran Choir in 2008, with texts by Susan Palo Cherwien. Other highlights of the program include Elaine Hagenberg’s My Song in the Night, Shavon Lloyd’s So Breaks the Sun, and Jake Runestad’s Under this Tree and Nada te Turbe.
A pre-concert talk with composer Aaron McDermid is included with your ticket. The talk will be from 3-3:30pm in the sanctuary.
