Synod Hunger Program Gathering

At a time when increasing wealth disparities means that vulnerable people are experiencing hunger more often and for longer periods, your congregation’s commitment to ensure that we live in a world where all are fed is even more important to incarnating the gospel. Thank you for your ongoing ministry.

And, we want you to share proudly your work. We are gathering representatives from all congregations involved in addressing food issues in our society, whether through food pantries, feeding programs, advocacy with Bread for the World, food production, or other creative activity.

Petra Rickertsen, the Networks Manager for ELCA World Hunger Domestic Unit, will join us virtually to share exciting collaborations in other synods and creative ways that we can deepen connections between the various congregational ministries within the synod.

Join us for some “cool idea” sharing and a drawing for a stipend for one of our food programs.
