DESCRIPTION:At the 2025 ELCA Churchwide Assembly\, voting members overwhelmingly adopted a memorial\, addressing the sin and injustice in the history of Indian Board Schools in the country and acknowledging the ongoing trauma of this time in history. September 30 was set aside for a National Day of Remembrance of Indian Boarding Schools.
