DESCRIPTION:This new HEALTH PROMOTER course is designed for volunteer laypersons or church staff who wish to begin and lead health efforts to encourage physical\, emotional and spiritual wellness among faith community members. Promoting health in your church strengthens relationships\, service and congregational care. \nHealth Promoters work with your church’s leaders to identify and respond to health-related needs by planning health education events and providing support for those struggling with health issues. Augsburg University President Dr. Paul Pribbenow\, an esteemed leader in higher education\, will be the featured presenter.
