Congregation: New Promise Lutheran, St George, Utah
Position summary:
1. This position oversees and develops all aspects of our worship ministry and other duties as needed.
2. Reports to the pastor of the congregation.
3. Oversight of the worship accompanist.
4. Work with musical volunteers involved in the worship service, i.e. choir, liturgists, band, and special music volunteers.
5. Oversight of the children’s music ministry.
6. Works with the pastor and worship teams to develop worship services.
7. Assists the pastor in planning additional worship services if needed.
8. Oversight of recruitment, training and scheduling of the choir.
9. Planning of worship related activities with the worship team, oversight of multi-media maintenance of music library and copyright licenses.
10. Other duties as needed and assigned.
**Flexible work environment.
** Salary: $500/month based on 15 to 20 hours/month

Position summary:
Position Title: Keyboard Player – Contemporary Worship Band
Reports to: Worship Leader
Status: Paid
Schedule: Sunday mornings (before worship rehearsal)
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate keyboard player to join our contemporary worship band for Sunday morning services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contemporary Christian music and be able to contribute to a cohesive, Spirit-led worship experience. This role requires both musical excellence and a collaborative, team-oriented spirit. Vocals are a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Play keyboard/piano for Sunday morning worship services and scheduled rehearsals.
- Collaborate closely with the worship leader, band members, and tech team to create a unified sound.
- Learn and prepare contemporary Christian songs in advance (charts, recordings provided).
- Adapt to different arrangements and styles as directed by the worship leader.
- Participate in occasional special services or events (e.g., Christmas, Easter, worship nights).
- Arrive on time for rehearsals and services, prepared and ready to play.
- Maintain a Christ-centered attitude and foster a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency on keyboard/piano with ability to play contemporary Christian worship styles.
- Ability to follow chord charts, lead sheets, and click tracks.
- Strong sense of timing, dynamics, and musicality.
- Willingness to play in a team setting and take direction from the worship leader.
- Familiarity with artists such as Hillsong, Elevation Worship, Chris Tomlin, Bethel Music, etc.
- Vocals are a bonus, but not required.

This position provides quality and upbeat music at regularly scheduled and special scheduled worship services.
