The synod office invites you to celebrate with us as the ELCA Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton installs Bishop-Elect Jen Nagel as Bishop of the Minneapolis Area Synod. A light reception will follow the installation service.

When you arrive at Central, make sure to enter the lot through an open air entrance so that you don’t have to pay for parking. You can go into the ramp from the open air lot, but if you enter straight into the ramp, you are in convention center parking and will have to pay. View a parking map.
Join the festival choir
The service will include a pick-up festival choir conducted by Zach Busch. The choir will rehearse at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21 (the day of the installation) at Central Lutheran, Minneapolis and music will be emailed to participants mid-late August. If you would like to join the choir, please sign up here by August 15.
