“Indeed, the body does not consist of one member but of many…If one member suffers, all suffer together with it; if one member is honored, all rejoice together with it.” (1 Corinthians 12:26)

We are Church Together, each members of one body “given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good” (1 Corinthians 12:7). Though powers strive to divide and isolate us, to make us fear our neighbor and one another, we know that in Jesus Christ we are knit together, called to make God’s love real. Together, at this year’s Synod Assembly, we will reflect on what it means in this moment to be Church Together.

Keynote Speaker

Rev. Prof. Dr. Dirk G. Lange (born in Winnipeg, Canada) is Assistant General Secretary for Ecumenical Relations at the Lutheran World Federation and Fredrik A. Schiotz Chair of Christian Mission and Professor of Worship at Luther Seminary (USA)

Displays and Sponsorships at Synod Assembly

Display Tables and Sponsorships are an important part of the Minneapolis Area Synod Assembly.

We are Church Together, and the Synod office lives into that reality by serving as a connector across the Synod. We are honored to be able to connect local church members and community partners at our Synod Assembly. It’s a great time to share your work and resources. If you have a resource, product, or service that is valuable to the congregations and leaders in the Minneapolis Area Synod, we invite you consider sponsoring the event.

Reach out to Jeni Huff with any questions.

Sponsorships of the Synod Assembly support the mission of the Minneapolis Area Synod, especially by helping to cover the important costs of childcare, as well as language interpretation and translation so that everyone can participate fully.

Sponsor organizations are also encouraged to have a display table at the Assembly.

We sincerely appreciate any amount that you are able to contribute to this year’s Synod Assembly. If guidelines are helpful, some are listed below.

  • All sponsors’ names will be listed on Synod Assembly materials.
  • All sponsors who give $250 or above, will have their organization’s logo and link on the Synod Assembly materials.
  • All sponsors who give $500 or above will get $100 off the cost of their display table.
  • All sponsors who give $750 or above will get their own slide at the Assembly.
