St. Philip Lutheran, Fridley, has an active disaster response team that travels across the country helping to rebuild communities devasted by storm, fire, or flood. Recently the team traveled to Waverly, Tennessee, which has been deeply impacted by flooding. The News-Democrat, the local paper, wrote a nice story about their efforts to help rebuild.
