Position title: Assistant Kitchen Manager
Organization: Shobi’s Table, St. Paul
Brief position summary: The Assistant Kitchen Manager is essential to shaping the ministry of hospitality at Shobi’s Table. They influence the culture of our kitchen by caring for the relationships and food logistics that make this ministry known for being love made edible. This person will either already be skilled at or eager to learn the Shobi’s way of cooking according to our Kitchen Philosophy and established patterns (see Food and Menu page at shobistable.org). They work closely with the Head Chef and other staff members to make new from-scratch menus each week. They lead teams of volunteers, and ensure a clean and safe work space. They are an integral part of making Shobi’s Table a viable and meaningful ministry in our neighborhoods.
Average 20 Hours Per Week – Regular Schedule is Mon-Wed. Extra hours on weekends and evenings with catering and engagement events. Schedule modifications can be negotiated.
