Meals on Wheels Program Description:
Meals on Wheels (MOW) is a service that delivers nutritious meals directly to people’s homes. CES’ MOW program serves over 300 individuals in the North and South Minneapolis neighborhoods. Clients can receive a daily hot meal, or they can choose to receive a pack of frozen meals that they can heat up on their own. Many of our clients are seniors, homebound, and/or disabled, and rely on these meal deliveries for important nutrition, as well as social support and encouragement. For many, the Meals on Wheels program helps them maintain independence while living in their own home.
Position Overview:
The Meals on Wheels Kitchen Coordinator will play an essential role on the Meals on Wheels team, preparing the meals and sides each day for delivery to our clients. The Kitchen Coordinator role requires care and attention to detail, food safety and cleanliness, and maintaining our meal inventory.

Meals on Wheels Program Description:
Meals on Wheels is an important solution to those in need of nutritional and social support, many of whom are homebound. With the help of volunteers, CES serves over 350 people daily in the inner-city areas of South and North Minneapolis with a smile and prepared, nutritious hot noon meal or frozen meals delivered daily and monthly check-in calls.
Scope of Work:
The Meals on Wheels Associate is responsible for the facilitation of the Frozen Production line, along with route coordination for the drivers, as well as completion of prep work for the next day’s delivery. This position interacts with senior clients, staff and volunteers in person and on the phone.

Brief position summary: Lutheran Mideast Development is an international 501(c)3 nonprofit that has been working with displaced women, children and refugees primarily of Kurdish origin in the Middle East for 115 years.
